  Note: A case of leg injury with difficult bone infection of 10 years following an aircrash [sole survivor] in Djibouti. The problem was cured by combined orthopedic and plastic surgery to provide new tissue cover over the bone after clearing all diseased bone. A relatively simple surgery solved 10 years of misery.
